It has been a business philosophy that has served them, and their customers, well and has led the Company through a remarkable twenty-five year period of continuous growth, expansion and recognition as a true "one-stop shop" for avionics, instruments, and pilot supplies.

Commenting on the 25 year celebration, Rick Garcia, Founder and President of Gulf Coast Avionics said, "The past 25 years have seen an amazing transformation of the Company from where we started to where we are today. One of the most significant milestones was our move to Lakeland in 1999 and construction of the 29,000 square foot facility that we now occupy. This custom-built structure provided the space we needed for expanding our services and capabilities to the levels demanded by our domestic and international customer base."

From its current location on Lakeland-Linder Regional airport in Lakeland, Florida, Gulf Coast Avionics has become an authorized distributor of most major brands of avionics products and maintains a comprehensive inventory of avionics, instruments and pilot supplies from which they regularly fill orders on a world-wide basis. In addition to the Catalog Retail Sales for which they have become so well known, Gulf Coast Avionics has also been a leader if the development of on-line sales through its efficient e-commerce web site. In addition, the lobby of the Lakeland facility house a unique interactive display of the latest avionics products where customers can get a first-hand and hands-on experience with the latest technology.

Beyond direct sales, Gulf Coast Avionics has developed a recognition within the aircraft industry through a growing number of avionics installs and custom panel upgrades, which they have performed on everything from Kit Planes to Warbirds to Business Jets. Commenting on this particular area of the business, Rick Garcia said, "Our airport location, 9,000 square foot Hangar, and professional staff of design, fabrication and installation technicians has enabled us to build this part of our capabilities in a relatively short period of time. We are now able to offer custom panel design and install to a wide variety of aircraft owners and operators."

Today, as a major avionics equipment sales, installation and repair center, Gulf Coast Avionics continues to stand by their original commitment to quality. They maintain a highly trained and dedicated staff that is constantly ready to serve customers and help meet all their avionics, instrument and pilot supply needs.
